Sylvia Hase, President of Hasbas Entertainment, has been the creative force and producer of an impressive body of award-winning, world-class events and live shows across the United States, Asia, Europe and South America. Together with her business partner, Steve Bass, her prestigious client list includes some of the most significant global brands: Walt Disney Company, DreamWorks, Sega Sammy, Universal Studios, The Olympic Games, Samsung, and Discovery Channel. Corporate work includes directing for pre-eminent brands as Lexus, Mercedes, the Disney Channel and The World Science Forum.

Known for bringing emotional resonance and sophistication to mega-spectacles, Sylvia has served as Creative Director for the International Broadcast for the Shanghai Disney Resort Opening Gala, artfully blending grand scale projection mapping with human performance, as well as the Universal Studios Hollywood Grand Opening of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter with John Williams and the LA Symphony. Spanning multiple mediums, she also is responsible for the Lunar New Year Spectacle entitled “Hurry Home” at World of Color, Disney’s unsurpassed lagoon and fountain show spectacular.

Her resume features work as the first female director in the history of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, the direction of the original musical Ludwig 2 in Germany, and The Mad T Party for Disney, a next generation of environmental entertainment. Her international work includes live productions based on DreamWorks Animated films “Shrek” and “Madagascar” in the UK, Germany, Korea and Australia, and Mickey and the Wondrous Book for Hong Kong Disneyland. In Japan, her THEA award-winning production of The Little Mermaid is the longest running show in Tokyo Disney Sea seen by over 35 million guests, and her IAAPA award-winning Starlight Night Parade for Universal Studios Japan is the largest of its kind ever built.
